If you plan on working on CDMA cellular phones, you have to have BitPim.

Me, too! ("Inquiring minds want to know.")

Back to topic

Recently, I needed to clone a HFS+ (Apple) drive, but only have Windows and Linux systems available. None of the major disk-copy "playuz" worked and I didn't want to use dd.

After some stumbling around, I found Disk Copy, a free (that is what most folks mean when they say "open-source," right?) utility that performs sector-by-sector cloning. It has a nice graphical interface and is quite intuitive to use. Super product!

I don't know about Australian carrier add ons for BitPim, but the "filesystem view" function usually works with most CDMA phones regardless of carrier.
