Anyone ran across a TYREXcell, model M5P before?

The PCB says "AlphaCell Wireless" and "PlexTek" on it. It is supposedly a GSM900, made in E.U. by Plextek and AlphaCell.

I am trying to get a battery pin out for it. I know it takes a Li-Ion 900 mAh, but that is it.

Would you please post a front and back picture of the battery inside your phone?

My guess is that it is Emblaze and made in Israel 😯 .

Is it this one?

Possibly

Code should be "BATE3001001"

No actual photos of the battery that I can find (

Possibly it was manufactured by Tyco

Thank you all.

It would be delightful if manufacturers could also standardize on battery, now that they standardized on power supply connector…

Well, OT (but not much) whenever possible I try to get electronic devices (not an option for phones AFAIK or not at all common) that do work on normal, AA or AAA batteries (both rechargeable or "plain" ones).

This way, when you need to use something (and obviously you didn't know in advance that you would need it and of course the battery has not been charged and/or you cannot find the charger), you simply buy in *any* store (or steal 😯 from a remote, toy, *whatever*) some standard batteries and you are good to go.

Seemingly I am not the only one thinking like this

Either way, I have a phone that does not have a battery, and no one carries a replacement, or has a picture of it. mrgreen

Next time I get one of these phones, I will sure to request to dig the battery fragments out too.

I provided you with a link (in the UK) that says it does carry a replacement, but anyway (and with all due respect) you have the specs, so you know that it is a Li-Ion 3.7 V 860 mA and it shouldn't be that difficult to trace the PCB to find which is the + and which is the -.

The vendors although state that they have the battery, they do not. I called. Furthermore the phone documentation states 900mA, not 860.

I do know what are the terminals on the phone. There is a technical reason I need to know the look of the battery. There were modifications made to the terminals on the PCB, and depending on the size and position of the battery terminals, "things may change".
