I'm currently working on a Cellebrite UFED PhysicalPro "presentation" for Law Enforcement Agencies and I get an issue w/ the GPS extraction report.

Q1 Is there someone who can explain why after getting a complete EXTRACTION REPORT w/ Cellebrite-UFED on a GARMIN GPS (Nuvi 255W) - without any error during the process - the ACTIVE LOG report (html and/or pdf format) shows only 172 journeys (with nothing in 2011) but when I click on the GoogleEarth link to get the online mapping of those itineraries and then, I click on PLACES (left column of GoogleEarth application), I can find more ACTIVE LOGs including some reached in 2011?

Q2 Can I find a way to get those new locations included on my initial EXTRACTION REPORT?

Q3 The chronology based on the EXTRACTION REPORT (html and/or pdf format) is not accurate since the sorting is based on the day (01, 02, 03… ) instead of YYYY / MM / DD. Can we correct this to make sure that we will get a real chronology tab?

Any tip will helpful.
; ) Thanks.

A1)
For each journey that you see the name of the journey with the time stamp is the name that is given by the Garmin device.
If you hit the expend button, you will see all the locations in that journey with their timestamps, there you should find the locations with 2011 although the journey name did not have 2011.
A2)
You can use the Instant Search (top right) and type the time stamp that you are looking for. This will result with all the journeys that have locations with that date time stamp. Use the select check box to select these journeys and they will go to your report.
A3)
The Journey order is at the same order the Garmin returns.
Please PM me with a specific example.

Hello RonS,
Thanks for your answers.
I found the EXPEND BUTTON but it didn't help at all since this feature just show us more info (Lat./Long. TimeStamp) for the particular journey but doesn't show any info about other days.

Even after following your procedure, I do not get the expected result for the JOURNEY LISTING. And between us, a report should show all different steps/locations or itineraries up front, without seeking details on different locations. Don't you think?

Q4 If the GPS user was on the road on April 2011 using her device, why this history didn't appear directly on the basic JOURNEYS report?

It's even odder today since I did several new extraction since yesterday from the same devise (GPS Garmin 255W) I finally got April 2011 on the Journeys list but for any reason, I got the beginning of the day on one report, and the end of this same day on a second report, but without the beginning.

Q5 May be I could send you the report copy to show you what I'm talking about. Can you shoot me directly your email address?

Q6 Also, why, I do not have anything else for 2011 when I'm sure that this device was used during those three first month of 2011?

Again thank for your help since I really want to improve your Cellebrite solution, in order to be as much efficient on the field with UFED, I will come back w/ more feedback.

I will, thanks. A lot of different details seems to be odd… but for sure everything should be fixed.
FYI I didn't receive your PM.
