Hi all, I ask for information about android rooting, if I have to recover data from the internal memory of the device, I have to root the device and to execute it I have to unlock the botloader which, however, performs a factory reset, then a wiping of the internal memory of the device.
But then what's the point of making physical copies on rooted devices if the memory has been completely overwritten and therefore nothing can be recovered? Can anyone explain this to me?
Thank you.

Sometimes things just don't have to make sense. Follow protocol and make your management proud.

Unless it's a specific case where you know you can unlock bootloader without wiping the device, don't do it. There's no recovery after factory reset on any encrypted device. You'll just lose data permanently.
