Besides Bitpim, is there any other free tools out there that can be used to unlock a CDMA phone?

Don't know about free but I have had great results with CDMAware for $100.

Though not free, I have used Paraben's Device Seizure on several in the past year with great success. I downloaded the file system and found the unlock code.
