Uploading doc to cloud change MAC timestamp?

Does anyone have knowledge about what occurs when a document is uploaded to a cloud service such as Google Drive. I need to know if MS Office document metadata is changed when a doc is uploaded to Google Drive, Onedrive, Dropbox, etc... I can't seem to find material on this subject anywhere. Thanks.
