Really? Then you need to work on your Google-fu. Try typing "books" in the search box in the upper left corner of any page on the site.

Several of those books sit open on my desk all day…which means one of two things…either they are very good or I need to clean my desk…or a both.
I am becoming a huge Kindle addict just because of that. Bookmarks, underlining, search, all very handy and easier to carry. When Amazon implements folders so I can better organize my collection that will be even better.

Funny, I used to get emails from Jamie when I'd say things like "Google is your friend", or something similar. Now, I'm seeing more and more responses like BitHead's first response…
I am not sure how familiar you are when it comes to forensics and therefore its hard to put my finger on just one book.
I have always found any books by Harlan Carvey as very good resources (especially his newest
Also, if you are just getting into forensics and don't have any of the certifications, all the CompTIA study guide books are very handy (plus after you read them, you can take the tests and become certified, which greatly improves your CV/Resume). I believe most of these book come with CD's.
The last book I purchased was a forensic investigation
The more specific you are, the easier I could help you pick out books. I believe I linked to all US books, but you are from the UK, so you may need to locate them at the UK store. Feel free to PM me, but I only do forensics for personal use, it is not my career.

As the recipient of a couple of your "Google is your friend" replies I never really had a problem with them, especially when you gave a hint (even some of the cryptic ones) that got just the right synapses firing to get me past my mental block of the day.

Now, would that mean that Jamie is "softening" with age or that BitHead is somehow allowed more liberties than keydet89 or what? ?
Just in case, and for future use
