Hi,

On a previous thread I created, I had a problem with a formatted drive and nothing coming up on it, after being advised to try PhotoRec, I did and it seemed to find loads of stuff (mainly pics) which we thought were lost. However………

It put everything it found in a stupid amount of directories!!! it just went and created hundreds of them cry

I've been busy (looking after a baby!) so not had chance yet to sit down and go through them, so before I climb that mountain, I was wondering if this is the norm for this app or if there is some option to stop it doing this or someway of reading what I need (other than doing a search for .jpg in the parent folder?)

I know I should hunt it down myself, but being at home with a baby, I can't turn my back for 2 minutes without the little monster pulling, pouring, breaking, chewing something… D

Thanks!

From experience, babies and wifes are a bit harder to handle than a bunch of recovered images, so good luck with all the three "items". 8)
