Unfortunately you have no real idea where this file comes from. The picture could be in unallocated space or it could be a live file. As items are only typically written to a VSC once they are overwritten.
Shadow Explorer would be ok, but if the picture is in unallocated space it won't tell you, the beauty of VSCs. You don't know anything about their contents until you've invested several hours worth of work and then you might whack your head off the desk because its all been for nothing. Still, have to try don't we?
Assuming you wish to continue you'll want lots of hash sets ready to weed out duplicate files and such.
