mmWave - a term 5G will bring belongs to 30-300GHz waves. But 28GHz of Qualcomm's X50 5G Snapdragon modem is also in. Aggregating 8x100MHz results in 800MHz bandwidth - in theory.
Read here about 28Ghz RF signal propagation characteristics

Next will come PNT

If you are ambitious and a hard-core learner see here (highly technical, but fun)

WiGig (60GHz) together with 802.11ax will be part of 5G. Did you understand the last topic massive MIMO in detail? Its not directional beamforming and aggregation of subcarriers. No. Its more about intelligent and smart transmitting data packets for they finally almost lossless reach the MS Mobile Station (ME Mobile Equipment + UICC Universal Intergrated Circuit Card).

See the silent clip to get a picture

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBb481RNqGw

Remember CP-OFDMA Cyclic Prefix - Orthogonal Frequency Division Mutiple Access? Its a key element
in massive MIMO.

What is the next you W2L? Share your mind here -)

An unconventional way of learning at the frontline See the program and abstracts of 5gsummit in Reston on August 19, 2017

http//www.5gsummit.org/reston/5GSummitReston_FullAgenda_v1.pdf

If you read carefully, you learn many technical details of 'whats in the pipe' -)

5G in theory and in 2018 large-scale South Korea (SK) Olympics is one thing. Lets turn to reality and search for examples which NEED 5G. Autonomous Vehicles for sure need the 1ms latency of 5G. A candidate is the new Audi A8 AI (Audi Intelligence). Here the tech

SK Telecom you see testing here

Lets ask. Which units/gateways in a car NEED a 1ms latency and crash if NOT?
