We've been having a discussion about what terms to use for a group of digital investigators, for example we have
a flock of birds
a pride of lions
etc.
What term can be be used for
i) Computer Examiners (suggestions thus far include a gaggle, a squad, and a cluster)
ii) Phone Examiners (only one suggestion so far - an infestation)
Any ideas?
Nerd herd
a gaggle of geeks
a covey
pod squad
In keeping with Rhino's how about …
a crash
maybe given the current prevalance of distance computing …
a cloud ( bats allegedly )
A little more complimentary …
a shrewdness ( apes 😉 )
In line with the work …
a sleuth ( bears … )
Or the disposition …
a skulk ( foxes ).
I leave you with the link to derive your own -)

A hash of forensic examiners
A google of forensic examiners
A Harlan of forensic examiners
Great topic! I'm not going to post any of the ones which immediately came to mind - they were all far too offensive 😉
Jamie
A dump of forensic analysts or even a dumping of them sounds funny!
"A CELL" will be more appropriate for mobile phone analysts don't you think.
How about a hash? )
Tom
I agree with two aforementioned suggestions, they certainly seem to be the most applicable.
A cluster of computer forensic experts.
A cell of mobile device forensic experts.

Hi,
Is it too late to suggest a 'volume' of forensic computer analysts?
