Have you ever tried to Geo-tag an Image been sent via WhatsApp? (IOS/Android)
You may try to take a photo with GPS enabled +Geo-tagging enabled as well, and send the image via whatsapp and have a look @ both images (Original + Sent photo)
I believe its very important issue for the law enforcement.

WhatsApp delete (gobble) some of the metadata (ex.EXIF) by itself when u send images/videos from smartphone to smartphone.
Imo u cant find any sent whatsapp images/videos with metadata like geo-position.

They just compress images and videos by cutting the metadata off to save up some bytes i guess ^^
They optimize both Images/Video auto. (keeping the Original of course) then
Hashing it n Send.
i tried many methods some are close but not exactly the same
Org. Video from 11mb to 1.3mb (whatsapp engine)
