i've tried r-studio which can also recover lost partitions, but it failed badly, i think the problem is more related to the fact that the partition is not of any well known filesystem we are used to see on desktop computers.

I believe it's exfat if i'm remembering correctly, the few we've done have only ever worked with X-WAYS

I've acquired the image of the eMMC via the qualcomm bootloader, which, being unlocked, exposes the whole eMMC as a storage device.

I was able to use FTK imager to dump the eMMC
