Here is the case I am investigating
Blackberry Tour 9630 ,v5.0.0.1062(1735)
Two days ago I use UFED to extract the Message and SMS from it ,
But after boot from the bootload mode several time with UFED touch,and power on and poweroff several time,I find the "old Message"is missing ,has gone, and the message box now is EMPTY,
So what's the problem here ,am I wrong ?and does somebody has same experience with it?
Any thoughts/advise will be appreciate.

In settings of SMS, there is a drop down box, where it says something along the lines of "keep messages for XX amount of days" Could it be that the handset has it set to remove SMS after a certain period of time ?
Again no info to work from, so just pointing out the obvious.
