Hi Guys,

Simple question, and I do realise this has been asked in many guises before but if you had the choice of purchasing two software tools for mobile phone forensics which ones would they be??

1.Cellebrite

I really do like Oxygen. I suppose cellebrite or possibly XRY would be next if cost were no object.

CelleBrite and Oxygen

CellBrite and XRY of you find yourself doing some older phones. But if that's the case I would also invest in a SHU Box.

Also please consider Compelson's Mobile Phone Forensics Express (http//www.mobiledit.com/forensic-express). Compelson continues to develop their technology with new releases.

Another option for iOS and Android acquisition and analysis BlackBag's BlackLight software.

NOTE I am a Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) and my tests of Oxygen showed that tool to be excellent as well. Instead of buying a Chevy Camaro, I decided on purchasing Cellebrite, and have not regretted the decision. Although it is harder to pick up the ladies with my Cellebrite dongle than a Camaro (http//www.chevrolet.com/camaro-sports-car.html).
