I have got Wireless Book (chinese) with the operation system Windows CE to analyze its content. Here is more information about it http//
Has anybody any experiences what is the best way to do it? It seems there is no hard drive inside.
Thanx a lot.
At first I thought you were referring to a book reader (like a Kindle knock off)
I think what you actually mean is that it is a Netbook style of laptop.
It seems there is no hard drive inside.
The spec page states hard disk capacity 4G or 8G. So I would assume that it does have a hard drive or some sort. Given the tiny size I assume it would be a solid state flash chip.
If it is running Windows CE then it would be reasonable to expect that you can boot from from a USB drive into your preferred forensics package. Then take it from there.
Thanx a lot for the answer.
The problem is I can't access the BIOS to set USB as the first running device because I have no clue which key should be pushed. No information in the manual, I've tried to push almost every key and no luck.

Tha thingy looks a lot like NOT having a BIOS at all, but rather some form of embedded "firmware"

(not completely unlike "common" routers/modems)
The thread is about a "similar" model "X6-7A".
Possibly your "X6-7V" can be accessed (just like the mentioned hardware) through a Serial or JTAG.
You may want to contact the good Linux guys that posted in the above mentioned thread as they seem to be the only ones around to have fiddled "properly" with a similar thingy.
