Hi guys,
I'm trying to analyse an android mobile phone as part of an assignment. Within the locations tab of XRY there is listed 127 location entries of which 110 are Wi-Fi and the remaining entries are CELL.
I'm trying to make sense of the names assigned to CELL entries, and google really isn't helping.
One of the entries is 2341037187, is there any documentation I could read that would make sense of this in terms of it being a BTS?
Thanks
From the looks of it, it appears as though the '2341037187' is showing you the Country, Network provider and the cell tower number.
234 indicates a UK IMSI.
10 indicates the network provider (In this case O2).
As for 37187, I can only assume this is the cell tower number. You may need some cell site analysis or mapping for the O2 cell towers to find where this is.
For more information on IMSI prefixes, check out http//
Hope this is of some help!
This look like a cell ID. However you are going to need more info like LAC because cell IDs are repeated within the UK.
