Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on what the most important new technology to the introduced into digital/computer forensics in the last five years. I'm taking a forensics class in college, and I thought it might be good to get the opinions of people outside the classroom.
Thanks for your time. -)

Memory Forensics has been the biggest breakthrough in recent years. Outside of that, there's been no single technological solution that's been "important". They are all important to someone somewhere. For instance cell forensics are important to some, but not me, whereas F-response is vital to me.
