This role sits within a dedicated Cyber Security and Reaction Service team, where the successful candidate manages the full lifecycle of incident response for national and international clients. Day to day, this involves reconstructing complex attacks, implementing containment measures, conducting compromise assessments, and performing penetration tests including Red and Purple Team operations. The position also requires developing detection strategies across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR platforms, as well as delivering forensic reports to both technical teams and senior stakeholders. A STEM degree with an IT security or digital forensics focus is expected, alongside hands-on experience in DFIR, Threat Hunting, and SOC operations. Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework is essential, and certifications such as GCFE, GNFA, or GCIH are highly valued. The role suits an experienced, analytically minded professional comfortable working independently, leading client engagements, and travelling for international incident response assignments.
