The Role
This position involves delivering hands-on digital forensics and incident response support for a federal government client. Day-to-day work includes coordinating data acquisition operations, conducting host-based forensic analysis, leading preliminary investigations, producing technical reports and executive summaries, and serving as a forensics liaison to key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in host-based forensic analysis, data collection techniques, and incident response methodologies. Experience writing detailed technical reports and peer-reviewing junior colleagues’ work is essential. A senior-level background in DFIR, including the ability to mentor others and apply sound forensic protocols, is required.
