The Role
This position supports federal cybersecurity incident response and proactive threat hunting, conducting host-based forensic analysis during both remote and onsite engagements. Day-to-day work includes coordinating data collection, leading forensic teams, analysing digital artefacts, drafting technical reports and executive summaries, and travelling to incident sites as required.
Skills & Experience
Candidates need proven expertise in digital forensics and incident response, including host-based and network-based analysis techniques. Strong report-writing ability is essential, as is experience mentoring junior analysts, conducting peer reviews, and communicating forensic methodologies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
