Leaders in frontline and lab-based digital forensics, case management and endpoint monitoring technology, Detego Global, recently announced exciting new appointments to their leadership team. Andy Lister, a subject matter expert in this field, with over 25 years of experience spread across the military & commercial landscape, will be taking on the role of Managing Director while Alex Kirk will lead Detego’s sales efforts as the company’s Global Sales Director.
In his new position, Andy will be responsible for continuing the momentum of Detego Global’s ongoing growth strategy, bringing further to fruition the vision of CEO, Dave Kirk.
Sharing his thoughts on the appointment, Dave Kirk said, “Andy’s extensive experience brings a valuable perspective to the leadership team at Detego Global. Andy joined the Royal Marine Commandos at the age of 18 and has spent nearly two decades in that industry, graduating to UK Special Operations and responsible for the organisation’s Materiel and Personnel Exploitation (MPE) capabilities. During that time, he was commended by multiple agencies on a host of national security initiatives and the development of specialised, multi-agency projects, all while nurturing sensitive commercial and defence relationships.
“Andy has ported these skills across, and has been equally successful in the commercial sector. His professionalism, team ethos and genuine commitment to the greater good of investigators has made him stand out in an already impressive crowd. Couple that with a natural business acumen, he continues to provide a positive impact for the company and the community that we are proud to support; he’s an excellent choice for Managing Director.”
Andy will be working closely with Detego Global’s new Global Sales Director, Alex Kirk, to continue developing valuable relationships with clients and partners around the world.
Commenting on the recent promotion, Andy Lister said, “It’s an honour to lead the Detego Global team and assist the wider forensic community. This is an exciting time in the Detego brand’s growth, I’m really enjoying seeing the continued development of Detego the product and company, not to mention the positive impact we are having on our clients. As MD, I’m now also empowered to match that outward passion, inwards, and ensure that Detego Global not only goes from strength to strength for our users, but is a great place to work & thrive.”
Detego Global’s sales function also gets a fresh perspective with the appointment of Alex Kirk. Alex’s well-deserved promotion comes at a time when Detego Global is preparing to leverage the growing demand for digital forensics technology and innovative solutions in the post-pandemic world. Alex believes there’s significant potential for growth as we head further into 2022, particularly with the arrival of new Detego solutions & unique capabilities.
Commenting on his new promotion, Alex said, “I’m very excited about helping Detego Global reach the next level in the company’s journey. Our recent awards, patents, new contracts & continued renewals of multi-million-pound government deals all highlight how rapidly the business is evolving. I believe there’s sensational potential to create new opportunities and build further partnerships in the months to come, and I look forward to it.”
