Detego Global, a pioneer in digital forensics and incident response solutions, has launched its Justice Accelerator Grant for the second year in a row. This year’s initiative focuses on empowering Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigators across the United States, reinforcing their crucial mission to prevent child abuse and bring perpetrators to justice.
As part of this year’s program, Detego Global will provide 50 selected ICAC teams with an exclusive 2-day certificated virtual training from 15-16 October and a 90-day license to Detego Suite Pro. Each grant is valued at $7,500, totaling $375,000 in support of the critical work of ICAC teams across the nation.
Detego Global’s Director of Training for North America, Rob Maddox, will leverage his experience in law enforcement and training of over 25 years to deliver a comprehensive program that enables participating teams to apply the latest technology and methods to their investigations. The training will cover essential, tool-agnostic strategies for expediting on-scene and lab-based investigations, with a special focus on addressing cyber tips related to child exploitation. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Detego Suite Pro, exploring its latest features including AI-powered facial recognition that’s 4x faster than the industry average, semantic search capabilities that can identify concepts and contexts in large datasets, enhanced indecent image detection that’s 2x faster than before, the new Xpress HashScan Mode and more.
C.J. Hamidi, Detego Global’s Business Development Director for North America, commented:
“Our mission is to help safeguard the innocent and empower those who protect and serve. The Justice Accelerator Grant ensures that ICAC investigators have access to state-of-the-art tools and training, enhancing their ability to respond to threats faster.”
Rob Maddox, emphasized the practical nature of the training:
“This program is designed to benefit all ICAC investigators, regardless of their current tools. It’s also an excellent opportunity to experience how our technology can accelerate investigations and bring justice more swiftly.”
The grant will equip teams with state-of-the-art digital forensics solutions included in Detego Suite Pro. These tools include:
- Ballistic Imager is a patented, highly portable tool that allows data acquisition from computers, laptops, and servers up to four times faster than standard tools (enabling investigative teams to secure 1TB in less than 8 minutes).
- Field Triage is a portable tool ideal for investigating data on numerous digital devices. It uses an internationally patented red-amber-green visual alert system to identify investigation-relevant data, making it perfect for on-scene ICAC investigations and offender management.
- Media Acquisition is an intuitive tool that enables the simultaneous acquisition and analysis of data from multiple devices, allowing users to acquire, analyze, and act on critical data from removable media, mobile devices, computers, and hard drives, with the ability to make on-the-spot decisions by accessing live previews of the data being captured.
- Fusion helps investigators uncover valuable connections between locations, individuals, cases, and devices through advanced AI-powered link analysis technology.
- Analyse AI+ enhances Detego Global’s award-winning AI analytics and workflow automation, introducing AI-powered object detection, similar image identification, fast AI audio and video transcription, and the quick translation of audio and video evidence. These features enable investigators to streamline their work and close cases faster.
Detego Global’s digital forensics solutions are tailored to meet law enforcement teams’ demanding requirements in the field and labs. The tools empower investigators to easily identify devices associated with crimes, rapidly extract vital evidence and leverage the power of Detego Analyse AI+ to create compelling cases.
