From May 11-July 1, 2015, (ISC)2 is delivering Live OnLine Training courses to provide expert-level instruction for those interested in attaining CCFP certification (Certified Cyber Forensics Professional).
The courses are delivered through the (ISC)2 Learning Center, a centralized platform that allows learners to access CCFP training materials, educational resources and manage their (ISC)2 online training in one environment.(ISC)2 Live OnLine Training provides high-intensity courses using the latest tools and techniques in a live, hands-on laboratory environment to conduct a simulated cyber investigation. The lab exercises include computer forensics using commercial tools, network forensics and Internet forensics. Areas such as email, applications, forensic timeliners, social media and mobile devices are covered in addition to the traditional computer forensics examinations.
Outside of the laboratory exercises, students address legal and ethical considerations, the foundations of digital forensic science within the context of the forensic sciences, and emerging and hybrid technologies as they impact the digital forensic investigator. The course is a combination of instructor lecture, hands-on lab exercises, instructor demonstrations and a practical exam with after-exam review.
Leading the course are (ISC)²-authorized instructors who specialize in cyber forensics in law enforcement, academia, government service and the private sector.
