Introducing The Oxygen Forensics Scholarship Program

At Oxygen Forensics we understand the challenges that investigative entities and law enforcement agencies with limited resources face. With these challenges in mind, we have designed a Scholarship Program that aligns with our vision and empowers them with the tools they need to have a positive impact in their communities.

These awards are designed to empower investigative entities, law enforcement agencies with limited resources, and students. New and advanced analysts, examiners, students, and investigators alike are encouraged to apply.

How the Oxygen Forensics Scholarship Program Works

Our Scholarship Program includes awards in the following categories:

Law Enforcement Recipient Award

This award includes a one-year license of Oxygen Forensic® Detective, one live Boot Camp class (live online or in classroom), and full access to on-demand education.

Eligibility: Any law enforcement digital forensic analyst, examiner, or lab manager may apply.

Private Industry Recipient Award

This award includes a one-year license of Oxygen Forensic® Detective, one live Boot Camp class (live online or in classroom), and full access to on-demand education.

Eligibility: Any digital forensic analyst, examiner, or lab manager employed by a private company providing digital forensic services.

Military Veteran Recipient Award

This award includes a one-year license of Oxygen Forensic® Detective, one live Boot Camp class (live online or in classroom), and full access to on-demand education.

Eligibility: Any military veteran working in the digital forensic industry as an analyst, examiner, or lab manager and employed by a private company or law enforcement.

Professional Development Awards

Each award includes one pass to an industry event, one on-demand pass for a Boot Camp class, and the chance to certify. This award will be presented to two students.

Eligibility: Students must be in their final year or already have a bachelor’s degree in a program pertaining to digital forensics.

Requirements

To be considered for a scholarship, fill out the application with valid information and attach the described essay.

Submit an essay on one of the following topics:

  • Describe the top three challenges in your role and how you are addressing them.
  • Discuss a case in which digital forensic evidence unexpectedly changed the course of your investigation.

Selection of Winners

Winners will be determined based on the required documents and submitted essays. The Oxygen Forensics Scholarship Team will award each category of scholarship to the recipients they believe will benefit the most and make the greatest positive influence on society.

Submissions will be considered for awards up to 18 months after the date of application.
