New Webinars this Summer on Android Recovery and Griffeye Integration
The lazy hazy days of summer aren’t going to be very lazy or hazy around Magnet Forensics. This summer is going to be jam packed with insight and help for our customers and for investigative teams all over the world.
We just wrapped up a webinar on the forensics ins and outs of Android Nougat with our very own Android expert, Christopher Vance. Look for the recording of that webinar to be available in July.On August 16, another new webinar will dive deep into the pitfalls of Android recovery in the age of encryption and privacy features on the latest smartphones. Tayfun Uzun, one of our experts, will walk attendees through the tips and tricks for recovery, including bootloader flashing, exploits, and recovery flashing—a new addition to Magnet AXIOM that allows our customers to physically image over 650 Samsung devices. 650! The following week, on August 22, we will join our friends at Griffeye for a webinar on the power of integrated digital forensics. In the latest version of AXIOM, we enhanced our integration with Griffeye and Project VIC to make it easier to bring all categorized data directly into AXIOM and report all findings together using AXIOM’s simple reporting features.
Griffeye will showcase how their categorization and media analysis tech can be utilized for many different case types; our team will show how taking an integrated approach to forensics and looking for tools that work seamlessly together, can have the greatest impact for your cases. Learn more here.
In addition to our great webinar lineup, we will have some new blog series starting this summer, a new whitepaper and, of course, our regular free software updates to AXIOM and Magnet IEF! We expect to be able to share some amazing new features soon.
We also sat down with Lee Whitfield of Forensic 4:Cast fame to discuss the importance of community and recognition. Look for that Q&A in the coming weeks.
