Police Cyber Patrol Unit Gets $9,000 Grant from Local Cable Provider

The Fort Smith (Arkansas) Police Department’s Internet crime fighters received a substantial grant from a local cable provider last week. Cox Communications awarded the Police Department’s Cyber Investigation Unit a $9,000 grant as part of a continuing community partnership between the department and the cable provider, according to a news release issued by Sgt.
