thanks, computer forensics is something I am very interested in. My only concern is what to do when I am done. How hard will it be to find a job or get my foot in the door somewhere etc.

I can't really say how hard it will be to get started with a job or getting your foot in the door. My suggestion is that while you are working on your studies get to know what is around you and meet the people that are doing this sort of work. Get to know some of the law enforcement in your area, find out what computer crime labs are there, pay attention to large companies who have or might need CDFT employees for computer security, analysis, investigation, or consultation. Check out state or federal job listings for positions that you might be interested in and work on meeting the requirements for such jobs. Keep yourself informed with what's going on in computer crime news and the changes that are taking place with methods of investigation, legal issues, etc. Good Luck!

Good advice, Jenn, if I may I'll use some of those suggestions for the "Getting Started" forum FAQ.

Kind regards,

Jamie

For those that are taking this now, can you confirm the content is modern and updated with XP/2003 etc?

When I took it they had not introduced this componet yet.
