Been thinking of doing a PhD -
If anyone has any serious and unique proposals they think merit 3/4 years of serious research then please let me know. I would be particularly interested in law enforcement agencies who have always wanted a certain area of digital forensics to be researched but have not had the opportunity to do so. Universities are always looking for industry based projects.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated (ideally I am looking for more than one suggestion from different people/agencies)
Thanks in advance
A study into the remnants which get left behind on the pendrive after using a vista's "Ready Boost" functions has always tickled my fancy?
Don't know if this would be of interest to you/pheaasable as so many different pieces of software leave all sorts of different bits in system RAM and page files

It is a reasonable suggestion - thanks for the input - the test is whether it passes the "submission of a substantial body of original research undertaken by the candidate" requirement for the proposal?
I will discuss suggestions made by people with my Supervisor and take it from there.
Keep them coming - thanks in advance
Hey if you do use my idea I better be included in the proofing process wink
