computer forensic equipment?

Hi i have a question a friend thats in law enforcment is asking me to recomend a better equipment to do the computer forensic. rigth know they use an usb hard drive and GDB. i was going to recommend the hardware from http//www.digitalintelligence.com the ultrakit and the analisys software from guidance encase. in your opinions is that a good advice or should i tell them to add another soft?.

It's hard to just recommend one tool.

Device Seizure
Data sniffer

Logicube has come a long way in their products and may be worth a look to your friend.

I like the write blockers from DI, but I also like the write blockers from

For write blockers, I have the DI kit, it's ok, but I think ForensicsPC has the best bang for your buck kit…
