I'm currently a college studnet. I graduate in May 2011. I'm trying to find employment in Cincinnatti, Ohio. I'm willing to travel if that is what's needed for me to get a job. If anyone could give me some help with this I would really appriciate it.

Not sure if this forum is the best way to get a job - where else have you tried and any luck? I'm also looking.

This forum is a great way to get a job.

It is a social networking site/community so you have to network and get noticed by being helpful and contributing. By simply stating that you need something will not gain a welcome response. Not to say that people wont help - but maybe by helping other along the way with technical questions or posting findings will get you noticed and a more likely candidate that someone would notice and/or recommend. Trust me, even starting out you have something to give back and a perspective that has value.

Nor is it really the mindset for this field in general because it is a process of self discovery. Really take the time to hit some walls in your job search and post the results. Here is what I have done, here is what I have found, here are the challenges I perceive and here is what I think might work - what do you think? Always lay a track before you put out the question so people have a better idea of how to help.

There are tech job sites out there like Dice - it can't hurt to hit those and land some interviews that you can maybe find out what a firm is looking for and where you an fill out your skills even if you are not the right fit.
