I'm still learning so please forgive the newbie question.
I'm looking to do some extraction on an android phone (just practice) but I can't seem to get the program to work. I've opened the developer mode and activated "USB Debugging", as directed by the program. Still my connection is not found between the android phone and the computer. iPhones work just fine.
I know the phone connects because when I plug it in, the system automatically installs the drivers needed and tells me the drive is good to go. What am I missing here?
What is the program you are using?
Which platform you running your program?
Did you give a try "adb devices" on terminal? If all goes well this should output serial no
I've run a couple programs on my windows 7 pc. I've run MOBILedit Forensics and Smartphone Recovery Pro. Neither of them work on Android. They work fine with iOS though.
