Been getting a lot of Android phones and hitting a wall with accessing them. Thus I want to immerse myself in all that is Android and was thinking about picking up Android Security Internals. My issue is the text is pretty outdated at this point. Is it still worth getting or should I just skip it?

I would consider it useful even if outdated. Get the basics so you can catch up the bleeding edge later on…
