BB5 SL3 physical extraction

What methods do you guys utilise to undertake a physical extraction of BB5 SL3 handsets?

Flasher box? Chip off? Any known software?

I have been asked to act as an honest broker for a client who is able to extract a full hex dump from any BB5 SL3 handset in an acceptable manner without undertaking chip off.

Do you share my excitement? I want to help the client understand the potential niche that he has and any thoughts from fellow professionals would be most helpful in helping the chap achieve his goals and getting a solution to market for us guys.

How often do you have to do have to rely on chip off services? How much do you expect to pay for such service? How often do you get BB5 SL3s that require physical extraction? What are the main barriers that stop BB5 SL3 physical examinations in their track…cost, time, capability, seriousness of crime? What would you want any solution to achieve? Are there any other glaring gaps, e.g. SE handsets, that you would like the client to apply his methodology to?
