This could be a great asset for some but a nightmare for others…

I'm not sure, that's the way the link was sent to me. I do know however the service works as posted, scary stuff…
Let me know if anyone has any ideas on how this works…

My guess would be it's an affiliate ID, most probably that belonging to the person who sent you the link.
I have no idea how this service works but I note that someone with your name is a forum member of the website in question. If that's you, perhaps you could ask there and enlighten us.
