CD-RW and telephone smart card (no GSM).
I'm from Italy and I'm new in this forum.
I want to now how to read data (if it's possible) of a smart card with microchip of public East country telephone and how resume data from a formatted CD-RW.
Thanks and ciao.
I'm afraid I can't help you with regard to your query about smart cards.
In respect of your query about CD-RWs - I am interpreting your query to be one of recovering previously existing data from a formatted CD-RW. So far as I am aware, this is just not possible. The phase change mechanism employed in this technology ensures that following formatting the recording layer is returned to a uniform crystallised state meaning that there is nothing left to analyse or recover.
I'm sure someone will correct me on that if there is a way to recover anything.
From what little I know it may depend on the type of format the CD-RW was subjected to. If it was a quick erase then maybe only the TOC from within the sessions lead in data, or the lead in data itself, has been erased and the actual data sectors may still reside on the disk. Maybe you could try to image the disk and see if you can recover anything? Also, IsoBuster maybe worth a look.
This isn't my area of expertise so these are just my thoughts.
Thanks to all for reply.
In our job there are to much tipologies of analisys on the media and i think that is important to now many of this.
