Chat.DB maintained on an iOS device or MAC computer has a variety of tables including Sync_Deleted_Chats and Sync_Deleted_Attachments. Typically these tables are empty but recently I analyzed an iPhone that was imaged by Cellebrite CAS and although the Chat table was empty, the Sync_deleted_chats & Sync_deleted_Attachment tables have 10s of thousands of entries, according to a screenshot I received. I'm unable to analyze the database. Does anyone have any citations or references they can provide that describes this tables purpose on an iPhone?
