Hello,
I have received a huawei Y9 2019 damaged and not repairable. I have few question regarding it and hopefully someone can help?
- Is it possible to chipoff and chip on to another huawei Y9 2019? What components do I have to move?
- If i get a dump can i brute force it through oxygen forensics or is it something else?
- Any other suggestion?

1. assuming the CPU and eMMC chip are ok, yes, you can transfer them onto a working board and phone should boot and decrypt correctly.
2. in general - yes, but it depends on the firmware version and encryption "version". Huawei did few changes recently and not all versions are supported fully.

Depending on the damage, Oxygen, XRY or Passware solution does not require phone to fully boot to dump and decrypt. Depending on the damage, it may still be possible to work with the phone, or fix the phone enough so those tools will work with it without doing the CPU/eMMC transplant.
