I've not used discs in Encase - so not sure there. But according to the presentation I saw from the Inspector folks, 1 sector in a CD is 2352 bytes broken up into sections of 12 bytes sync, 4 bytes ID, 2048 bytes data and 288 bytes ECC. For a DVD or BlueRay, a sector is a straight 2048 bytes data.

Not sure that helps, but it's all I have.

Good luck.

You're definitely an exception, not the rule. On any of the list-serves you can read about the long response times or no responses at all. I am glad you received a response, let everyone know how it works out and if you think about buying it what kind of price you get.

The sales emails that go unanswered are a bit ridiculous as they are just requests for prices (since it isn't on their website) can be a simple cut and paste or premade form going out. Click here for pricing, generates and auto reply with a price sheet in it and there you go. I'm guessing they lose numerous sales throughout the year from lack of responses.

Or, you put the prices on the website instead of call, or email.

I sent an email last night and got a response the early hours of this morning along with a download link for the eval software.

Obviously, I cant complain!

Thanks for the info, sadly no cigar.

I think what makes it worse is the fact that FTK just accepts it in, no drama, no setting from either its own imager or ISO Buster.
