Has anyone actually gotten an extraction utilizing EDL mode? Two devices now that I've gotten into EDL mode, but was unable to actually perform an extraction.
Software version(s) - assuming Cellebrite? Phone versions? Error messages? Log files? Behaviour/screenshots? Did the extraction start and fail or not start at all or what?
Much more detail needed.
Did you follow the EDL procedure in the Cellebrite video?
Followed the procedures and can get the devices to show up under device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM*). LG L157BL was the latest model that I tried with an error message of 86 or 83 wrong usb mode.
The interesting thing is if I don't use the EDL cable it actually goes through some steps, where as when I use the EDL cable it just beeps for a number of seconds before saying wrong usb mode.
Please approach support as they might propose you a solution.
