I have a question related with EnCase 7 enscripts. Is it possible to use EntryClass (EnScripts) in EnCase v7 to get a view of compressed file structure like in EnCase v6 in entries view ?
I think that solution to preview contents of compressed files in EnCase v7
is inconvenience e.g. when I want to display pictures from these files. I've readed
in EnScript Help 7 about EntryClass /Example 2/ and there is a note "The only way to have the entries become part of the case's entry list immediately is to add the device or evidence file to a case that is not part of the GlobalDataClassCaseRoot()".
I suppose that is possible to write EnScript to show in EnCase 7 contents of compressed files like in EnCase 6 but I don't understand how to "add the device or evidence file to a case that is not part of the GlobalDataClassCaseRoot()".
