As Swisscom switches all landlines by 2018 towards All-IP we search for a Fax over IP machine for a paper-only process.

Who knows a wellknown brand and model of an FoIP machine available in Europe?

If you have tested ICTFAX please PM me.

I thought that one would normally connect a "normal" G3/Super G3 fax to a T.38 ATA (analog telephone adapter).

If you want to buy a new machine, I believe Lexmark, Xerox and Ricoh (to name a few) all offer some T.38 and/or G.711 enabled multifunction (printer/copier/fax).

T.30, T.38, G.711 and Voice Data Band do not solve the issue of running Fax messages RELIABLE over IP. Emulation always is a risk and as the Centrex server at the ISP malfunction at All-IP the problem is fully real.

Not as stupid as you think.

WHAT is that you believe I think is "stupid"? 😯

I never said anything about anything being stupid, and I know what what I think (you don't).

WHAT (the heck) are you talking about?

You didn't ask about an opinion or comment on the reliability of FOIP technology, you asked about which machines exist

Who knows a wellknown brand and model of an FoIP machine available in Europe?

and I replied to that question, and NOTHING ELSE.

Go try helping people …. (
