The Forensic Focus State of DFIR Survey is now open. It's an independent look at digital forensics and incident response today, covering caseloads and accreditation, how AI is being used in the work and turning up in evidence, the tools teams use and buy, hiring and skills, and whether people expect to stay in the field.
Take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/H8RQTWG
It takes about 8 minutes and it's anonymous: no name, employer or email, and results only appear in aggregate. The findings become the Forensic Focus State of DFIR Report 2027, free in January. At the end, on a separate page, you can ask for early access, enter a draw for one of five US$100 e-gift cards, or offer a short follow-up interview. The survey closes on 30 November.
