I have read this forum for a while now and am constantly trying to improve my knowledge of computer forensics. This weekend, I had an idea for a novel I am thinking of writing. What if someone were framed for a digital crime (whatever it may be, CP, fraud, etc.) by a computer forensic expert? How would the investigating forensic officer determine the truth? Would it be possible? What might tip you off to look deeper even though your initial conclusions made good forensic sense?
I would appreciate any thoughts from the members of this board. Right now, this is just an idea in my head. Hopefully, I can get an outline put together that is good enough to write.
