Does anybody have a good software suggestion for pulling iCloud backups? I see that Elcomsoft Phone Breaker performs collections of iCloud backups, has anybody used this tool and have any feedback on it?
My company uses Elcomsoft Phone Breaker for every iCloud download. It is very simple to use, you just need the login credentials of the custodian, and then once attempting to log-in the custodian will be sent a 2FA code that you will need to get from them in order to see the backups. From there you just select the backup you want and begin the download. We usually take the download generated by Elcomsoft and import that into Cellebrite to make it readable that way so I have not used Elcomsoft beyond acquiring the data. There are options available other than just pulling backups but I have not used those to date.
