Hello guys,
So I was wondering if grabbing an E01 file from a 1 TB HDD and directly placing it into a NAS be faster or putting it on a 2 TB internal HDD of my PC be quicker?
Also whilst using IEF would it be quicker to analyze the E01 file within the NAS or the PC HDD?

I think there are too many variables to answer your question.
eg if the 1TB is a slow USB 2.0 external drive, or a eSATA SSD the speeds will be wildly different.
NAS can be fast or slow
Try it with your hardware and you will get an answer fairly quickly
