Is my research topic on the compatibility of digital forensic tools with IPFS log files a known forensic problem and worth investigating?

I am currently preparing a research proposal on the compatibility of digital forensic tools with IPFS log files. My aim is to investigate to what extent current forensic tools are capable of processing and analyzing IPFS log files adequately and identify the challenges they face when analyzing these log files. I am curious to know whether this topic is familiar to the forensic community and whether you think this is a relevant and valuable problem to investigate. Any feedback and suggestions are welcome.
