So, I've got a new case with a Android flip phone. The subject broke the screen in order to prevent recovery, however I was able to rebuild it and now it works great. However, it is one of these cut down Android OS devices, so none of my standard forensic software can recover it. Does anyone know of a product that can copy/recover SMS from this device? It is GSM and I've tried Magnetic Axiom and I've tried a Cellbrite UME device, both did not recognize the phone.

I can't check for you at this moment to make sure its supported but do you have access to XRY?
If you can install the Mobiledit Forensic Express Android connector to the phone, you will be able to collect the data over WiFi.
