I have an LG Cookie, when connected by cable the screen freezes and the pc pops up with USB device malfunction.
Once restarted the phone runs the touchscreen calibration wizard and shows empty call logs and text messages.
Is there a way to recover the call logs/texts? is this an LG software Glitch?
im using .XRY with the applicable LG cable.
After browsing forums online i find a huge amount of negative reaction to the Cookie and several people who have lost data.

Vygis box is a decent LG tool IMO, it can do some hex recovery worth checking out

Data recovered with Vygis is encrypted though so not all that much use…
