for economic reasons, I don't want to buy xways. I have a good knowledege of linux. I am comptia linux + certified.
Which is the possibility to use free software instead xways?

There are many open source tools. Have a look round these forums and via Google.

autopsy and sleuthkit are good for starting off.

dc3dd is a very powerful linux tool. It will wipe any device (or partition) default is "00" or with whatever pattern you wish and is pretty fast. It will also image or restore just about anything too.
